The National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) announces a partnership with UK-based Betting.Bet, an online resource for sports fans looking to gamble responsibly. The partnership gives fans of NISA and NISA Nation exclusive digital and social content and unique promotions and rewards. The Betting.Bet logo and hyperlink will appear on NISA’s official websites and will be included in the League’s broadcasts and digital media. NISA and Betting.Bet also will work together in providing responsible online betting information and advice to NISA supporters and clubs.

The Astros Foundation and PGA Tour announce Hewlett Packard Enterprise, an enterprise information technology company based in Houston, will become title sponsor of the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Houston Open for 2021 in support the Foundation, which serves as tournament host and beneficiary.

Klarna, a global bank, payments and shopping service, and Angel City Football Club (ACFC) announce Klarna as a Founding Partner. The multi-year deal marks Klarna’s first official partnership with a sports organization globally, looking to introduce the brand’s all-in-one shopping platform to new audiences and offering fans a new way to shop, pay and support their favorite teams. Additionally, Klarna has been integrated as a payment partner of ACFC’s online store.

UFC and Crypto.com announces an expansion of their existing long-term partnership that now includes an exclusive line of UFC NFTs. Crypto.com will offer a wide variety of UFC digital collectibles that will include fighter collections, fight night artwork, event posters, championship belts, avatars, artist collaborations, mystery boxes, athlete profiles and more.

G.O.A.T. Fuel, a health-focused energy drink founded by NFL Hall of Famer Jerry Rice, his daughter Jaqui Rice Gold and Trevion Gold, becomes the Los Angeles Lakersofficial energy drink, a first for the team.

The National Basketball Association (NBA) announce multiyear expanded partnerships making DraftKings and FanDuel Group co-official sports betting partners of the NBA. Both companies will have expansive rights to integrate NBA assets throughout their sports betting and daily fantasy sports platforms. DraftKings and FanDuel will create and feature NBA content that includes game highlights across their various content platforms. FanDuel and DraftKings will also become sports betting partners of the NBA in Canada, where they both plan to launch later this season.

 

 

Nov 17, 2021

Crypto.com and AEG launch a 20-year naming rights agreement that renames the AEG-owned and operated Staples Center, effective Dec 25, 2021. The multi-purpose arena, which hosts hundreds of annual  events and serves as the official home of the NBA’s Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers, the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings and the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks, will be known as Crypto.com Arena. This agreement also makes Crypto.com an official cryptocurrency platform partner of the Lakers and the Kings.

 

 

Nov 22, 2021

USFL and Fox Sports announce the league will play the 2022 season featuring eight teams in one host city, with that city and stadia to be announced later. Teams will play a 10-game schedule, beginning in mid-Apr and run through mid-Jun, followed by semifinals between the top two teams in each division to determine division winners. Then, the following week will feature the championship game played between the two division winners.
