The Capital One Orange Bowl is an annual college football game played in the Miami, Fla., area since 1935. The game has been played at Hard Rock Stadium since 1996 (except in 1999 when a NFL scheduling conflict forced the game moved back to the Miami Orange Bowl stadium).
The Orange Bowl is one of the "New Year's Six" bowl games that rotate hosting College Football Playoff semi-final games each year. The other five bowls are the Cotton, Fiesta, Peach, Rose and Sugar Bowls.
