The Lake County Captains are a Minor League Baseball (MiLB) team in Eastlake, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. Founded in 1991, the team is now the High A (2021) affiliate of the MLB Cleveland Indians playing in the Midwest League (MWL).
The Captains began play in Columbus, Ga., as the Columbus Indians (1991) and then Columbus RedStixx (1992-2002) as a member of the South Atlantic League (SAL).
