Atlanta, Ga.-based Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) was founded in 1925 as Huff Daland Dusters, becoming Delta in 1928.
Delta is a member of the SkyTeam airline alliance that also includes Air France-KLM, Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Australia, Korean Air and Aeromexico (via Joint Cooperation Agreement). The airline's frequent flyer program is known as SkyMiles.
Delta has partnered with numerous teams, venues and properties, often acquiring naming rights for premium seating and/or club spaces to brand them just like their airport lounges as a "Delta SKY360° Club."
