Los Angeles Football Club, or more commonly LAFC, is a Major League Soccer (MLS) club that plays home games at the Banc of California Stadium in Exposition Park.

MLS awarded the expansion franchise on Oct 30, 2014, essentially filling the vacancy in the market created by the dissolution of Chivas USA three days earlier. Chivas USA had played in the MLS from 2005-14.
