Founded in 2006 by brothers Ryan and Roy Seiders, Yeti is an Austin, Texas-based manufacturer of outdoor lifestyle products such as ice chests, vacuum-insulated stainless-steel drinkware, soft coolers and related accessories.
Both brothers were avid outdoorsmen and went to work in hunting and fishing related businesses. Ryan Seiders started Waterloo Rods (which he sold in 2015) in 2006, while Roy began his career making custom boats that were designed for fishing in shallow depth areas along the Texas Gulf Coast.
