WEPN-AM 1050 is a 24-hour Spanish language sports radio station, featuring national and local sports talk programs and live game broadcasts.
The call-sign was changed to WEPN on April 28, 2003, after being sold to ABC/Disney outright for $78 million. They continued to run the station as 1050 ESPN Radio (in English). It most recently had been WEVD-AM, often carrying New York Mets, Jets, Knicks or Rangers games when WFAN (the team broadcast's rightsholder and producer) had overlapping games.
