The Washington Commanders are a National Football League (NFL) team based in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area, playing home games at FedEx Field in Landover, Md. (f.k.a. Jack Kent Cooke Stadium; opened Sep 14, 1997; capacity: 82,000) five miles outside D.C. city limits.

Team headquarters are at Inova Sports Performance Center in Ashburn, Va., while the team's training facility is located at the Washington Football Complex in Richmond, Va.
