The Texas League is a professional baseball minor league with each team having a Major League Baseball (MLB) club affiliation and classified as AA level.
The league traces its roots all the way back to 1888, with the current iteration operating since 1902 (not counting the shutdown of MiLB for 1943-45 for World War II).
