The 14-school Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) with conference schools competing in Division II athletics.
Based in Atlanta, Ga., the conference was established in 1913 and consists mostly of historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), with all but one member located in the Southern U.S.
Three charter members remain part of the conference—Clark Atlanta University (formerly Clark College), Tuskegee University and Morehouse (which left and returned).
