NESN (for New England Sports Network) is a Watertown, Mass.-based regional sports network (RSN), launched Mar 21, 1984, that serves the six-state New England region, with NESN National serving those outside the region.
NESN is a joint venture of Fenway Sports Group (with 80 percent interest), the owner of the MLB Boston Red Sox among other teams and properties, and Delaware North (with 20 percent stake), the owner of the NHL Boston Bruins
