The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp are a Minor League Baseball (MiLB) team based in Jacksonville, Fla., since 1962. Home games are played at Bragan Field at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville (opened Apr 11, 2003; capacity: 6,000 seats, 11,000 including bleachers and berm seating).
The Jumbo Shrimp have been a member of the Double-A Southern League since 1970 (following a one year hiatus in 1969) and have been an affiliate of the MLB Florida/Miami Marlins . . .
