Conference USA (C-USA) is an American college athletic conference whose 14 member institutions are located primarily in the South and Southeastern U.S. and sponsors competition in 19 NCAA Division I sports (nine men's and 10 women's).
C-USA was formed in 1995 by the merger of the Metro Conference and Great Midwest Conference, with charter members Charlotte, Cincinnati, DePaul, Houston, Louisville, Marquette, Memphis, Saint Louis, Southern Miss, Tulane, UAB and USF.
