Abu Dhabi-based City Football Group (CFG) was formed in 2013 by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan as a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG).
ADUG was created in 2008 by Sheikh Mansour for his ultimately successful bid to acquire English Premier League team, Manchester City FC.
