In 1985, box seats for the "I-70 Showdown" World Series at Royals Stadium cost $40. Plaza reserved seats cost $30 and standing room cost $20.

In the ALCS that year, I can tell you that a view level box seat cost $25.

I’d list more prices, but that's all I could find in a quick Google search. See, the Kansas City Star’s archives only go back to 1991. That’s how long the Royals’ playoff drought was. It's tough to find stories about it.
