The Tampa Tarpons are a minor league baseball team founded in 1994 and based in Tampa, Fla., playing home games at George Steinbrenner Field (opened 1996; capacity: 11,026).

From 1994-2017, the team was called the Tampa Yankees. For the 2018 season, the team rebranded as the Tarpons in a nod to Tampa's longest-running Florida State League (FSL) team. The original Tampa Tarpons played from 1957-87.
