The Sioux City Explorers are an American Association of Independent Professional Baseball team based in Sioux City, Iowa, since 1993. The Explorers play home games at Mercy Field at Lewis & Clark Park (capacity 3,800; opened 1993).

The team played in the Northern League from 1993-2005 before joining the independent American Association in 2006 . . .
