San Diego Wave Fútbol Club is an expansion National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) franchise slated to begin play in Spring 2022 at the University of San Diego's Torero Stadium (opened 1961; capacity: 6,000).

When San Diego State University's Snapdragon Stadium is completed in Sep 2022, the Wave will make the new facility their permanent home pitch.
