The Quebec Capitales -- or Capitales de Quebec in French -- play in the Can-Am League, an independent baseball league with six teams — two in New Jersey, one in New York, two in Quebec and one in Ontario.

The team is based in Quebec and plays home games at Stade Canac.

The Capitales joined the Can-Am League upon its formation in 2005, but the team began play in 1999 as a Northern League expansion team. When the Northeast and Northern Leagues split after the 2002 season, the Capitales played 2003-04 as a member of the reconstituted Northeast League, then . . .
