North Carolina Amateur Sports (NCAS) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit charitable organization established in 1983 to host the first sanctioned State Games of North Carolina in 1986 and the 1987 U.S. Olympic Festival.
Staffed by four permanent, full-time employees, along with a 13-member Board of Directors, NCAS annually organizes the State Games of North Carolina and three Cycle North Carolina events.
