The Nashville Predators are a National Hockey League (NHL) team based in Nashville, Tenn., that began play with the 1998-99 season as an expansion team.

For their entire existence, the Predators have played home games at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena (opened 1996, f.k.a. Nashville Arena 1996-99, Gaylord Entertainment Center 1999-2007, Sommet Center 2007-09, Nashville Arena 2009-10 and Bridgestone Arena since Feb 23, 2010 . . .
