Little League Baseball and Softball is the first organized youth sports program in the world, founded in 1939 by Carl Stotz of Williamsport, Penn.
Little League International is based in Williamsport and oversees thousands of local leagues and hundreds of districts operating Little League Baseball, Little League Softball and Little League Challenger Division programs around the world. Today, nearly 200,000 teams play Little League in all 50 U.S. states and across more than 80 countries.
