The Georgia Swarm are a National Lacrosse League (NLL) team that plays home games and practices at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Field at Infinite Energy Center (capacity 13,000; opened Feb 16, 2003) in Duluth, Ga.
The Swarm were founded in 2004 and began play in 2005 as the Minnesota Swarm, playing home games at St. Paul, Minn.'s Xcel Energy Center through the 2015 season.
Originally run by Minnesota Sports & Entertainment, John Arlotta bought the team in July 1, 2008.
