The Colorado Eagles are an American Hockey League (AHL) team playing home games at Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, Colo. They are the AHL affiliate of the NHL Colorado Avalanche.
The Eagles were founded in 2003 as a member of the Central Hockey League, then moved to the ECHL in 2011.
The team moved leagues again in 2017-18 when NHL-AHL affiliations were shuffled . . .
