The Chicago Sky are a Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) team founded Feb 8, 2005, and based in Chicago, Ill.

The team plays home games at Wintrust Arena (opened 2017; capacity 10,387), part of the McCormick Place Convention Center just south of downtown Chicago.

Michael Alter has been the majority owner since the team was founded, with Margaret Stender, the largest minority owner, serving as chair.
