Baptist Health South Florida is a faith-based, not-for-profit healthcare organization and clinical care network in southern Fla.
The network includes 11 hospitals, over 100 outpatient and urgent care centers, as well as numerous community health and outreach programs.
The company was founded in 1960 and is headquartered in Coral Gables, Fla. It began as a single hospital in suburban Miami, and is now Fla.'s second largest employer with about 23,000 employees.
