Aston Villa Football Club is an English Premier League (EPL) club playing home matches at Villa Park in Birmingham, Eng.

The club's currently train at Bodymoor Heath Training Ground in north Warwickshire, on what was farmland purchased by former chair Doug Ellis in the early 1970s.

Aston Villa FC was formed in Mar 1874, by members of the Villa Cross Wesleyan Chapel in Handsworth which is now part of Birmingham. The four founders were Jack Hughes, Frederick Matthews, Walter Price and William Scattergood.
