Alaska Air Group is the parent company of Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. AAG based in Seattle, Wash., at Seattle–Tacoma (SeaTac) International Airport. The company acquired Virgin Airlines in 2016 and merged Virgin with Alaska Airlines in 2018.

It is the fifth-largest airline in the U.S. by fleet size, scheduled passengers carried and destinations served. Alaska Airlines is not a member of any of the three major airline alliances.
