Beasley Media Group is a subsidiary of Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc., a publicly-traded (NASDAQ: BBGI), multi-platform media company.
The company was established in Benson, N.C. by George Beasley in Dec 1961 with the launch of his first radio station, WPYB-AM.
