The average cost for a family of four to attend a National Football League game in 2016 surpasses $500 for the first time at $505.92, an increase of 6.7 percent from 2015, according to the Team Marketing Report Fan Cost Index®. The NFL becomes the first of the four North American professional sports to cross the $500 threshold.
