The Canadian Football League (CFL) -- or in French: Ligue canadienne de football (LCF) -- is the highest level of competition in Canadian football. Currently, the league consists of nine teams. The CFL was officially founded on Jan 19, 1958. The Edmonton Football Team is a community-owned Canadian Football League (CFL) team playing home games at The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Alb. The Sports Network, or more commonly simply TSN, is a Canadian English-language sports broadcasting and streaming network. TSN was established by the Labatt Brewing Company in 1984 as part of the first group of Canadian specialty cable channels. The Ottawa Redblacks (officially stylized as REDBLACKS) -- or in French: Le Rouge et Noir d'Ottawa -- are an Ottawa, Ont.-based Canadian Football League (CFL) team that started play in 2014.
