Dover International Speedway is a motorsports racetrack located in Dover, Del., that opened in 1969 as part of Dover Downs, a unique dual purpose facility, designed to accommodate both horse racing and and auto racing.
The track has been able to host as many as 140,000 spectators (between 2002-11), with seating set to be 59,000 for the 2021 season.
